Established Facilities
The Company Headquarters are situated on a coastal property in Alotau,
Milne Bay Province. This is the control centre for the administration, and
logistics for our construction projects country-wide and beyond.
Our full complement of facilities gives us the self-
sufficiency required delivering construction projects in time and on budget.
Facilities at our headquarters include:

Human Resources
Nawae Construction Ltd realizes the importance of its human resources
and the critical role its employees play in the company’s
performance and places great value in maintaining a core group of
skilled and dedicated national Papua New Guinean employees. Some
of these employees have been with the company for over 30 years,
and some are the second generation working for the company. All
are mindful of the company’s mission to perform beyond the clients
expectations and all share the vision of building strong client relationships
by providing client satisfaction through quality workmanship
and delivering projects on time and in budget.
Nawae has permanent project management and technical personnel
on staff but can also draw from a pool of skilled expatriate project
managers and technical experts that have specific regional experience
and have worked with us in the past on previous projects.
Nawae Construction has built solid working relationships with reputable
Engineering Consultancy firms for the successful delivery of our
design and construct projects.
Equipment
Nawae owns an extensive fleet of standard construction equipment that will
handle all types of civil engineering and building construction works as well
as specialised piling and marine construction plant.
Our range includes:
- Earthmoving Equipment; Trucks, excavators, bulldozers, graders and
rollers
- Cranes 20T to 150T (Mobiles and Crawlers)
- 20t and 40t Excavators
- Diesel, Vibrating and Gravity Drop Hammers and other Piling Equipment
- Gravel Screening and Concrete Production Plants
- Small Equipment and Support Vehicles
- Underwater cutting and welding equipment, diving equipment and
compressors
Our range of Vessels including;
- DB Ayios Georgios (Fully equipped construction barge)
- MT Didi (16HP Tug Boat
- DB Ayios Nikolaos (Self equipped crane barge with accommodation, office
and workshop facilities)
- MT Nicola (Tug Boat)
- LC Kristina (landing craft)
- MV Ayios Christoforos (Twin hulled survey and navaids service vessel)

Nawae places a strong emphasis on workplace safety and safe project
sites. Strict safety standards are implemented on all project sites, to
ensure the highest level of safety for employees and local communities
alike.
As a socially conscious employer that is aware of social issues that affect
it's employees, their families and the communitie sin which they work in,
Nawae Construction has taken steps to combat the increasing problems of
HIV Aids in Papua New Guinea, by becoming an approved policy holder
with Business Againts HIV Aids (BAHA) and the company's official HIV Aids
workplace policy and program is actively being implemented.

and ecologically sensitive. The company places a strong emphasis on
environmental management and monitoring and implements proejct
and locality specific systems that ensure that all construction and piling
